The House of Knowledge represents a significant contribution to the implementation of an educating city, as it serves as an infrastructure that promotes initiatives fostering knowledge in areas such as technology, digital literacy, science, society, culture, heritage, the environment, and many others. This aligns with the comprehensive nature of knowledge and provides a shared resource center for the educational community.

The House of Knowledge provides access to information technologies within the context of the Information Society, following an inclusive approach. It offers a range of initiatives that enable access to technologies applied in everyday contexts, aiming to promote digital and social inclusion.

The House of Knowledge is a space open to creativity, where the broad concept allows for the promotion of processes of reflection, design, creation, experimentation, and exploration.
