Municipal Youth Council

The Vila Verde Municipal Youth Council, referred to as CMJVV, is the advisory body of the municipality responsible for providing opinions on all matters of interest related to youth policies. It was created with the goal of gaining in-depth understanding of the needs, motivations, aspirations, and priorities of the young people in the Municipality of Vila Verde, as well as encouraging their participation in civic, cultural, and political life—issues related to youth.

The CMJVV is governed by Law No. 8/2009 of February 18, with amendments introduced by Law No. 6/2012 of February 10, which establishes its composition, duties, rules of operation, and the legal framework for municipal youth councils.
