Professional Insertion Office

The Professional Integration Office (GIP) is a service created through a partnership between the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training and the Vila Verde City Council. Its goal is to provide support to the municipality’s youth and adults in defining or developing their path to entering or reentering the labor market.

The GIP provides its users with specialized interventions in various areas:

• Information on active employment and training measures, employment and training opportunities, and community programs to support mobility in employment or training
• Support for job searches and developing an entrepreneurial mindset
• Referrals to training or employment measures
• Receiving and registering job offers
• Presenting unemployed people to job offers
• Placement of unemployed people with job offers
