SELESE – Special Format Reading Service – The Special Format Reading Service (SELESE) provides information in accessible formats for users with visual impairments, illiterate individuals, immigrants, and ethnic minorities. Materials are primarily available in Braille, audio, digital formats, and large print.

SELESE also offers computer training sessions focused on user needs, aiming to help the public access information technologies effectively. These sessions can take place at the library or remotely via computer or telephone.

SABE aims to provide specialized technical support and information resources to the school libraries of Vila Verde, creating a Municipal Network of Libraries. This service is managed by the Prof. Machado Vilela Municipal Library.
