When you turn 18, you become a citizen with full rights and responsibilities. One of these, and the most important, is the right to vote. By exercising your vote, you have an active voice in electing the nation’s representatives.
Elections take place at the municipal level (City Council and Parish Council), at the government level (Prime Minister), at the highest level of national representation (President of the Republic), at the European level (European Parliament), and finally through referendums (decisions made by voters).
To be able to vote, you must be registered. Nowadays, it is much easier. Your registration is automatic, and you can check your electoral status online, via SMS, through the Voter Support line, or at your Parish Council.
The Erasmus+ program is aimed at higher education students, vocational training trainees, staff from pre-primary to secondary schools, workers involved in youth work, and all young people who wish to gain skills in other European countries.
