The Municipality recognizes migration as a structural reality and an opportunity for the social, cultural, and economic development of the territory. In an increasingly diverse context, it acknowledges the importance of promoting policies and responses that foster the reception, inclusion, and active participation of all those who choose to live and work in the municipality.
In this space, a set of support resources for the migrant population is available, with particular emphasis on the Welcome Guide, currently accessible in three languages, which brings together practical information on services, rights, and duties.
Within the scope of this strategy, the Municipal Plan for the Integration of Migrants 2025–2030 was also developed—an overarching instrument that defines priorities and lines of action to promote effective integration, grounded in the principles of equality, social cohesion, and the valuing of diversity. This Plan was funded under Project FAMI2030-FAMI-01429500, reinforcing the Municipality’s commitment to implementing sustainable public policies aligned with national and European guidelines in this area.
Through a coordinated approach involving local, institutional, and community partners, the aim is to strengthen access to rights, enhance existing responses, and create conditions for full participation in community life.
This is an ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive territory, where everyone has a place.
