General Reading Room

The General Reading Room is a pleasant space filled with natural light. Books are arranged on shelves by subject according to the UDC – Universal Decimal Classification – making it easier to access materials. As a cultural and dynamic space, each month it highlights works by Portuguese and international authors, inviting readers to explore the fantastic world of literature and inspiring a love for reading.

In this room, daily newspapers, weekly publications, and magazines are also available for consultation.
