Manueline-style pillory. A cylindrical shaft rests on two square steps and a circular platform. The classical-style capital ends in an abacus topped by an armillary sphere, featuring the coat of arms of the Kingdom and the Sousa family of Prado. The structure is crowned with finials, the central one displaying a weather vane.
