The Museum of Wine and Vine is housed in the building of the former Vila Verde Cooperative Winery and is dedicated to the preservation, study, conservation and enhancement of the historical, ethnographic and artistic heritage related to the region’s winemaking tradition. Its permanent exhibition offers visitors a sensory journey in an interactive, immersive and captivating way, exploring the different dimensions of the wine world. It also promotes a set of initiatives for the cultural development of the territory based on a policy of citizen participation, integration and the promotion of knowledge.
It is also a space dedicated to wine tourism and to the promotion of local flavours, driven by the quality of the region’s wines, enhancing the winemaking and gastronomic richness that characterises the municipality of Vila Verde.
