Pelourinho de Larim

Main Characteristics:
The pillory stands on a one-step platform, partially hidden by moss, with a cubic base. The upper section tapers slightly and is topped by a wide molding. Above it rises a pyramid capped with a sphere. Relatively small in size, it has, since an unknown date, an unsightly and disproportionate twisted iron cross at the top. The old iron chain is still preserved, attached by two rings—one at the top and one at the bottom of the shaft.
