Parenting Programs

The GIF offers parenting programs for parents and other caregivers, aimed at providing support and promoting positive parenting practices.
Parents often face various challenges at different stages of life. Having some knowledge and training in practical strategies can provide valuable and effective support, improving the quality of family relationships and fostering a sense of parental efficacy.

These programs can be delivered individually or in groups, in-person, online, or in a hybrid format.

• The program “The Incredible Years” is designed for parents or other caregivers of preschool-aged children (approximately 2½ to 6 or 8 years old).
• The program “More Family, Younger You” is aimed at parents or other caregivers of pre-adolescents, adolescents, and young people (roughly 10 to 18 years old).
• The program “Children in the Midst of Conflict” is intended for parents of children and young people experiencing parental conflict, particularly in cases of separation or divorce, who demonstrate the capacity for cooperative co-parenting and wish to reduce conflict.

More recently, GIF has introduced two additional programmes:

“More Family, More Child”, for parents of children aged 3 to 11 years.
“DROPI – Parenting and Attachment”, for parents of children aged 0 to 6 years.
