The municipality of Vila Verde presents a great diversity of landscapes that make up truly idyllic settings. Embark on a journey of discovery for unique moments close to Nature and explore the most remote places, the riverside areas, the Faial river beach, walking along ancient paths full of life stories from the people of our parishes. Discover these footprints of time on foot, horseback, or by bicycle.
The mountainous terrain of these parishes provides remarkable landscape diversity, with steep slopes, ridges, ravines, and ingenious solutions for measuring and dividing land, among other typical features of mountain relief.
